time flew by so quick i didn't even realized my last post is nearly a year old so uh, hi hello im in fact alive (and my ceiling have yet to collapse on me in my sleep. great success)

to summarize this year for me so far: hooo boy i have been SLACKING my ass off over here. despite my attempts of improving my art last year, this year my 2025 folder for finished art has, and i shit you not: 0 content. In fact I have YET to make a folder for it, that's how much 0 we are talking.

i am in this this weird state where like, I have a creative mind and a great urge to show people all the shit i have stored in my brain especially when I feel inspired. but at the same time i absolutely dread at actually making them into reality. drawing is simply not fun for me anymore, hell it feels annoying even. Which makes it hard for me to finish any work let alone even practice or doodle. I tried other art forms, like writing or music production. but it kinda leads to the same spot after the whole feeling of "wow this is so new to me and cool!" goes away.

anyways for those actually reading this, if you're an artist of any kind, i'd probably would like some advice. how do you do it? like what kind of black magic ritual do you have to cast and how many souls must i sacrifice to enjoy creating stuff again, or at very least like, not /hate/ the process of creating something. if anybody got a clue lemme know cause im out of ideas.

apparently i got invited to vote for the monthly thing here for the first time? not sure if this is rare for people to get or if I am just late to the party: but it did made my day a little being included to a community that I honestly don't post enough to.

anyways update moment: hi been a good while since I posted here anything, last post was like in summer I think. If you looked at my previous blog: yes i still wanna draw peoples ocs but man my drawing motivation died for a good bit. im gonna try and work on it (x to doubt) but if you guys still want to throw something for me to draw eventually lemme know.

ive made it my mission to try and draw more this year in hopes of improving. cause sadly even though ive been drawing for like 10+ years my art still looks like digitalized mutated shit floating on radioactive sewage water (don't ask how i know). I've been practicing and experimenting since new years mainly by often drawing 20 pictures of different gestures and body shapes per minute, as well studying the very important fundamentals of "how not to suck at art part 1".

whilst drawing naked people a bunch of times been fun and all, i would like to draw more things and enter new grounds for my skill (pun violently intended). so let me introduce: Draw my oc. A thing where you throw your characters at me and I try to have a go at drawing them. For free pretty much (tho i do welcome free monies)

now i cant promise i will draw everyone's character, nor can I promise a quick delivery or high quality stuff. But by putting down a reference link for your oc down in the comments, you might receive a free doodle of your character sometime during your lifetime(s). And you help some eastern european guy draw better in the process. very cool stuff

feel free to put down any little facts about your character as it may give me a better understanding on how i should probably draw them. oh and here are the rules

• no nsfw stuff, not something that i do
• i never tried gore? maybe I will if i am in the mood for it but otherwise eh
• robots are sometimes fine though I don't have a whole lot of experience drawing them
• anthros/furries are fine though i don't draw them often, don't expect high quality stuff
• i don't have much experience with feral characters but I may give it a go. (I do have experience drawing ponies from MLP tho.)
• you agree that you give me permission on drawing your character and that I can post the art I drew of them on my profiles. (you're free to do whatever with that said art yourself tho. just give credit pls)
• i am not obliged to draw every character given, nor do I have to state a reason as to why
• and finally only give me characters that you own

other stuff aside as it been a bit since I last posted, uhhh. I know I hadn't been posting much but thats mainly cause I rarely have any finished works to post really. But I have been trying to draw everyday ever since like new-years-ish. (also been trying to learn how to program along with it and for some awful reason I started with java. but thats less important) so hopefully i'll make something worth posting here. As of late I've been enjoying drawing again so who knows, maybe this account will actually become more active as a result. (press x to doubt)

till then, have one of these many birthday posts and a five minute sketch i made w a mouse on krita. quality stuff really. As for anyone who actually reads these things, I hope you're having a good one today, and the day after, and the day after that, not thursdays though that day is occupied.

i dont know what to put here for my first news post so guess might as well make an introduction thing.

i'm arthur and i draw stuff. well I rarely do and even more rarely do I ever finish my art. so expect a lot of old art and sketches being posted here. tho I am trying to draw more often cause i wanna try to get decent? or at very least at a state where I can tolerate my own art more.

so far I been liking newgrounds way more than any other site I tried posting art on. so i'll try to be active...ish. (also thank you newgrounds for not ruining my drawings with horrid compression quality like twitter or instagram or fb or literally any other site)
